This project allowed for the exchange of ‘land-locked’ federally owned land parcels for plots of land contiguous with existing federal holdings. ACR determined the depth and extent of sediment packages with the potential to contain buried artifacts and features. These findings were based on the interpreted age and energy regime of stratigraphic units in the study area.
